For this prompt, I was to create a book based on a period of the history of my choice. This informative book about graphic design history during the Art Deco period displays full-bleed colorful images of graphic design posters of the 1920s through the 1930s. The formatting of the book is based on the format of these posters and subtly references tall buildings. The outside of the book is minimal in color to contrast the inside contents. Using the secret Belgium bind, the hole covers reference rivets, and the spine is a piece of metal, giving the book an industrial quality.
